Maria Elo
Maria Elo is an associate professor at the University of Southern Denmark. She is also a professor and executive dean at the Belt and Road Institute of International Business at Shanghai School of Economics and Åbo Akademi University has granted her the title of Docent. Her research interests are international business, entrepreneurship and migration with a strong focus on internationalization. She examines resources of skilled migrants and returnees as well as diaspora impact on migrants’ entrepreneurial activities including transnational networks, remittances and the role of cultural and language capabilities for labour markets.
