How to find us:
By car:
- From the A40 motorway: Leave the motorway at exit Gelsenkirchen and proceed for approximately 2.5 kilometres on the B 227 in the direction of Gelsenkirchen-Zentrum. After the gas station, turn right into Mundscheidstr. at the 2nd traffic light. After approximately 500 metres, on your right you will find the Institute for Work and Technology (in the Science Park).
- From the A42 motorway: Leave the motorway at exit Gelsenkirchen-Zentrum and proceed for approximately 1.6 kilometres on the Grothusstr. direction Gelsenkirchen-Zentrum. At the junction Overwegstr./Florastr., turn left into Florastr., then turn right into Luitpold-Str. (changes to Ringstr.). After approximately 2.2 kilometres, on your right you will find the Institute for Work and Technology (in the Science Park).
By public transport:
- From the main station Bochum Hbf take the RB 46 to main station Gelsenkirchen Hbf
- From the main station Essen Hbf take the RE 2, RB 42 or the S2 to main station Gelsenkirchen Hbf
- From main station Dortmund Hbf take the RE 3 or the S2 to main station Gelsenkirchen Hbf
- From main station Duesseldorf Hbf or Duesseldorf airport take the S 1 to main station Essen Hbf. From main station Essen Hbf take the the RE 2, RB 42 or the S2 to main station Gelsenkirchen Hbf
- From main station Duisburg Hbf take the RE 2, the RE 3 or the S2 to main station Gelsenkirchen Hbf
- From main station Muenster Hbf take the RE 2 or the RB 42 to main station Gelsenkirchen Hbf
DB Bahn – Time table information
By tram:
- From main station Bochum Hbf take Line 302 to “Gelsenkirchen Buer Rathaus” and alight at the stop “Wissenschaftspark”
- From main station Gelsenkirchen Hbf take the Line 302 to “Bochum Laer Mitte” and alight at the stop “Wissenschaftspark” (2nd stop)
By foot:
- Leave main station Gelsenkirchen Hbf towards exit “Neustadt” proceed straight forward for approximately 8 minutes towards Wissenschaftspark (Science Park) or Arbeitsgericht (labour court). At the traffic light cross the street, on your right, you will find the Institute for Work and Technology.
