Jessica Siegel (M.A.) studied Media Studies as well as English Literature and Culture at the Ruhr University Bochum. She has experience in cultural and media archaeological approaches. Her primary research interests involve examining the relationship between traditional and digital media technologies, science communication and sustainable development. In her master's thesis, she dealt with the question of how traditional belief systems are (re-)produced in Deep Fakes.
Since spring 2019, she has been working for the Institute of Work and Technology at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences Gelsenkirchen, focusing on developing and implementing a strategy for science communication.
Currently, she coordinates the Erasmus+ project Sustainable Development Strategies for Higher Education Institutions/SDS4HEI.
