THE EUROPEAN PROJECT AcTive WILL PROMOTE THE TECHNOLOGICAL AND ICT SKILLS OF OLDER PEOPLE

The Institute for Work and Technology (IAT /Westfälische Hochschule – University of Applied Sciences) coordinates the European project "AcTive" (Development of a Training Program for the Improvement of Active and Healthy Ageing through the Exploitation of High-Tech Assistive Technologies) which aims at increasing technological and digital skills of older persons allowing them to use assistive technologies with the overall aim of supporting the process of active and healthy ageing.

During the project the Consortium will develop training materials and an online platform for implementing a training methodology. This will include a "peer to peer" training where older persons will train peers.

The Consortium is formed by entities working in the field of supporting older persons in ICT skills:

AcTive is a project funded by the European Commission within the ERASMUS+ 2016 Programme.
